Markings: Beautiful P&V Maestro Model Sporting Shotgun.  This 12 Gauge features 2-3/4″ chambers, with 30″ Demi-bloc barrels fitted with a matted, ventilated top and non- ventilated side ribs.  Barrels are marked “MADE BY PERUGINI & VISINI” at the left rear. Barrel flats are stamped with 2000 Italian nitro proofs and SN.  Low profile, coin finished, O/U action with  minimally engraved lock-plates with a removable trigger group featuring a non-automatic safety and single non-selective adjustable trigger. Bottom of the action is also engraved “PERUGINI & VISINI”. “NUVOLERA, BS, Italy”. Also on the right side of the barrel we see “NUVOLERA, BS, Italy”

The left and right  lock-plates are smooth but trimmed with Italian filigree. .The bottom of the action and trigger guard continue the quail theme with additional inlaid quail and acanthus style scroll.

The stock and forend features fine quality, European walnut with a pistol grip buttstock (no palm swell) which measures 14 7/8″ over a black Buttplate.  Note the stock measures approximately 13 7/16″ to the end of the walnut stock from the same middle trigger position. This stock can be readily shortened for a shooter needing a bit less length. Point pattern checkering with line borders at the grip. Matching schnabel forend has a Deeley type release.

Stock Configuration & Condition: The stocks are two piece standard semi pistol grip. The LOP measures 14.25 inches from the front of the trigger to the back of the <Fill Here>.  walnut stock has a few minor marks in the rubbed oil finish.   Fore end shows some handling marks (most likely from use at clays course) and some wear to the oil finish.  Bores are bright and appear excellent. Mechanically excellent and action / lockup remains tight.  Ejectors work and are in time. The stocks rate in or about very good to excellent  overall condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright. There is no erosion. In either barrel set

Overall Condition: This shotgun retains about 99% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish shows only minimal handling or pressure marks. The screw heads are strong and show no tool marks. The markings are clear and distinct. Overall, this shotgun rates in about Very fine to excellent condition.

Mechanics: The action functions fluidly. We have not fired this shotgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
