Markings: The left side of the receiver is marked “.308 Match”. The safety selector markings are “S” for safe and “R” for fire. The right side of the receiver is marked “FABRIQUE NATIONALE HERSTAL MADE IN BELGIUM STEYR SECAUCUS N.J.” The right side of the receiver is also marked with “2507713” and “GUN SOUTH INC.,TAUSSVILLE AL.”.
Barrel Length: 20”. 23.5” with the muzzle device and bi-pod mount.
Sights / Optics: The front sight is an adjustable post between two protective wings. The rear sight is an adjustable L-Type aperture with range markings up to 600m.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The buttstock is a wood stock with a sling loop and flip up style metal buttplate. The pistol grip is smooth polymer. The handguard is a wooden handguard with finger grooves. The barrel has a free spinning sling ring. There is a top mounted black polymer carrying handle mounted just behind the handguard. There is a small depression on the stock and multiple small depressions on the raised portions of the handguard. There are surface scratches and handling wear on both the carrying handle and pistol grip. The LOP measures 14.5” from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttplate. The stock, handguard and carrying handle rate in about Very Good Overall Condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no visible erosion in the bore. The feed ramps are smooth and the chamber is clean. In this writer’s opinion, this bore rates 9.5/10.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 90% of its metal finish. There are very, very light scuffs and scratches throughout the metal surfaces. The sides of the receiver and lower have faint, but noticeable drag marks. There is light wear along the edges of the ejection port the reciever just behind the ejection port has a cluster of marks. There is some wear along the edges of the muzzle device. The gas tube has three small spots where the finish has been removed. The pins are unmarred. The markings are crisp. The bi-pod spring is strong and the lock up in both positions is positive. The action cycles very smoothly. Overall, this rifle rates in about Very Good to Excellent Condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
