Markings: The barrel is marked “C MP 5.56 NATO 1/9 HBAR”. The left side of the lower is marked with the Colt horse and logo, “SPORTER / MATCH HBAR / CAL. .223 / SER. MH 002218” and also “COLT’S MFG. CO. INC. / HARTFORD. CONN. / -U.S.A.-” “SAFE” and “FIRE”. The right side of the BCG has forward assist notches and the left side has a “C” stamp. The neck of the Bolt Head is marked “MPC”. The trigger is marked “MK / II”.
Barrel Length: 20”. 21” with A2 Flash Hider
Sights / Optics: The front sight is a cast A frame sight with hooded aperture fixed to the top. The rear sight is a dual aperture sight in the carry handle.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The buttstock is a fixed A2 stock with sling ring and checkered buttplate with trap door for storage compartment. The pistol grip is an A2 grip. The handguard is a 12.5” round checkered aluminum handguard. The LOP measures 13 7/8” from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttplate. The stock rates in about Very Good overall condition. There are scratches and scuffs on the stocks. The checkering is crisp though the peaks are slightly worn.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright, the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore. There is a patch of corrosion on the side of the bore. There is fouling in the grooves. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 8/10.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 95% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish shows light-mild operation wear. The screw heads are sharp and pins are unmarred. The markings are clear. There are some faint drag lines and scratches on the receiver and barrel exterior. Overall, this rifle rates in about Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This rifle comes with three Magpul PMAG 10rd 5.56 magazines in Like New condition, still sealed in their packaging.
