Markings:  The right side of the magwell is marked, “Made in Germany / HK Inc. / Arl. Va. 22 201 / Kal. .308”.  The left and right side of the safety selector is marked, “S” and “F”.  The left side of the magwell is marked, “HK 91 A 033677” with a Nitro Eagle and Ulm Antler Proof and a Date code “IB”.  The top of the charging handle is marked, “1IB”. The left side of the buttstock in the sling well is marked, “41A”.  The left side of the handguard is marked “2IB”.

Barrel Length: 18”. 19.5” with birdcage flash hider.

Sights / Optics:  The front sight is a hooded post.  The rear sight is an adjustable diopter drum marked 2 3 4.  The top of the receiver has HK Scope Claw Mounts.

Stock Configuration & Condition: The furniture on this G3 battle rifle is a G3/HK91 polymer stock set.  The pistol grip is polymer with finger grooves and thumb rest.  The handguard is smooth polymer with front cap and appropriate grooves for the folding bipod.   The LOP measures 14.75” from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttplate. The stock rates in about Excellent overall condition. There are some light scratches. The pistol grip is very clean.  There are no chips or cracks.

Magazine Quantity & Condition:  One HK G3 20rd magazine in Excellent condition dated 6/61.

Bore Condition:  The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is some very minor erosion spread throughout.  In my opinion the bore rates 8/10.

Overall Condition:  This rifle retains about 99% of its blue-gray finish.  The screw heads are sharp and pins are unmarred. The markings are clear. There is very little operation wear.   Overall, this Pre Ban rifle rates in about Excellent condition.

Mechanics:  The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
