Markings: The right side of the magwell is marked, “Made in Germany / HK Inc. / Arl. Va. 22 201”. The left and right side of the safety selector is marked, “0” and “1”. The left side of the magwell is marked, “HK 93 A056146” with a Nitro Eagle proof, IC Date Code, and an Ulm Antler proof. The left side of the handguard is marked, “1IC”. The top side of the charging handle is marked, “3IB”. The right side of the scope mount is marked “B-SQUARE”. The scope is marked “Leupold Vari-X III 3.5-10x40mm LONG RANGE”.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a hooded post. The rear sight is an adjustable diopter drum marked 2 3 4. The upper is mounted with a B-SQUARE scope mount. On the mount is a Leupold Vari-X III 3.5-10x40mm LONG RANGE Rifle Scope.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The buttstock is polymer with a sling well, sling bar, and serrated polymer buttplate. The pistol grip is polymer with thumb rest and finger grooves. The handguard is polymer with folding bipod cutouts and nope cap with provision for bipod (not included). The left side of the gas block has a sling ring. There are light scuffs and scratches throughout. The LOP measures 14.75” from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttplate. The stock rates in about Excellent overall condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is light erosion in the bore.
In this writer’s opinion, this bore rates 8 out of 10.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 95% of its metal finish. There are scuffs and scratches throughout the metal surfaces. There is wear to the finish around the bottom edge of the magwell, just below the ejection port, and around the outside edges of the ejection port. There are a few minor spots of finish loss on the buttstock collar. There are a few faint drag lines on both sides of the receiver and lower section of the frame. The screw heads show light use. The pins are unmarred. The markings are crisp. Overall, this rifle rates in about Very Good condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.

This HK91 is the civilian version of the G3 rifle chambered in 7.62x51mm. The special markings on this rifle date it to the 1982 version making it all the more rare.
