Markings: The left side of the frame is marked, “INGRAM M10A1 CAL. 9MM. 45A.C.P / MILITARY ARMAMENT CORP. / STEPHENVILLE, TX. USA / SAFE FIRE / S5092332”. Both of the barrel extensions/barrel shrouds are marked with the Cobray Stamp.
Barrel Length: 6” proprietary threaded barrel.
Sights / Optics: Iron sights. The front sight is a fixed post with protective ears. The rear sight is a fixed U notch sight.
Stock Configuration & Condition: There is a polymer grip attached to the back of the magwell. There is no surface wear on the polymer backstrap. The mag release is located at the bottom of the backstrap. Safety is located in the front of the trigger guard.
Magazine Quantity & Condition: One 36 round 9mm magazine in Very Good Condition.

Finish Originality: Original
Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore.
Overall Condition: This pistol retains about 97% of its metal finish. There is some light operational wear as well as some loose storage marks and light scratches on the receiver. There are some concentrated scratches on the top of the receiver in front of the rear sight. The markings are crisp. Overall, this pistol rates in about Very Good condition. Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this handgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements. Safety is located at the front of the trigger guard.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This pistol comes with a BOYT Carry Bag with two Original Cobray Barrel shrouds, MAC Owner’s manual, total of one 36rd streel magazine, along with original purchase receipts dated for 1990.
Our Assessment: This is an original Mac M10A1 (Military Armament Corporation) designed by Gordon Ingram who designed the machine pistol for Special Ops use. The M10A1 also referred to as the MAC11 was to be light, compact, and able to deliver extreme amounts of firepower with a custom suppressor. The MAC11 however had too much firepower and delivered a fire-rate of 1200 rpm – easily unloading a 32 round magazine in less than 2 seconds. The weapon researcher for the International Association of Police Chiefs, David Steele, famously dubbed the MAC 11 as “fit only for combat in a phone booth”. These pre ban pistols are increasingly rare and one in as good of condition as this is even harder to find. It is closed bolt which means it was made post the 1986 ban on open bolt systems but the original configuration on this means it is pre 1994 assault weapons ban in which this pistol was specifically named.
