Markings: The left side of the receiver is marked “COLT / AR-15 / 9MM CARBINE / CAL. 9MM-NATO / SER. TA01681”, “COLT’S FIREARMS DIVISION / COLT INDUSTRIES / HARTFORD, CONN. / U.S.A.”, “SAFE/FIRE”. The top of the barrel is marked “C MP CHROME BORE 9MM-NATO”. The left side of the upper in the carry handle recess is marked “C H”.
Barrel Length: 16”, 18” with A1 birdcage flash hider.
Sights / Optics: The front sight is an adjustable post iron sight and the rear has an L-type flip peep sight. Standard A1 style sights. Mounted to the carry handle with a see-through style mount is a 4x fixed power scope marked “COLT 4×20” and a top turret marked with yardages from 100 yards to 500 yards. On the bottom of the scope is an inspection sticker. The scope has a simple duplex reticle and a clear sight picture.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The buttstock is a CAR style collapsible buttstock with 2 position adjustment, sling slot, and checkered integrated buttplate. The pistol grip is an A2 grip. The handguard is a carbine length round ribbed polymer grip. This is an older receiver with 3 holes on each side of the magwell, no case deflector, or frame around the magazine release button. The LOP measures 13.1” from the front of the trigger to the back of the fully extended buttstock and 10” when collapsed. The grip shows minor handling wear and is in Excellent condition. The handguard shows very little signs of handling or wear and is in Excellent Condition. The stock also shows very little signs of handling or wear and rates in Excellent overall condition.
Magazine Quantity & Condition: This rifle includes One original 25 Round Factory Colt 9mm Magazine in Excellent condition with strong springs and sharp leading edges. There is some storage wear but no notable defects.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is a very small patch of erosion in the bore near the muzzle. There is also some lead fouling in the grooves in the first ? of the barrel. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 8/10.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 97% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish shows minimal handling wear with light scratches and light wear marks throughout. The screw heads are sharp and the pins are unmarred. The feed ramp and bolt face are smooth and clean. The markings are clear. Overall, this rifle rates in about Very Good condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
