Markings: The barrel is marked “C MP 5.56 NATO 1/7 HBAR”. The left side of the receiver is marked with “Colt” and Colt Rampant Logo, “AR-15 A2 HBAR SPORTER CAL .223 SER. SP228436”, “COLT’S FIREARMS DIVISION / COLT INDUSTRIES / HARTFORD, CONN. / U.S.A.”, “SAFE FIRE”. The Bolt Carrier is marked “C” on the left side and the neck of the bolt head is marked “MPC”. The Left side of the gas block is marked “YHM”. The top of the upper receiver is marked “RRA”.
Barrel Length: 20” No muzzle device installed.
Sights / Optics: No sights are currently installed. The upper receiver is a flat top with picatinny rail for mounting optics.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The pistol grip is an A2 style checkered polymer grip. The buttstock is an A2 style fixed stock with sling ring and checkered buttplate with trap door for storage compartment. The handguard is an A2 style handguard. The LOP measures 13.5” from the front of the trigger to the rear of the buttplate. The stock and handguard have minor scattered drag lines and scratches throughout. There are no chips or cracks and the buttplate checkering is sharp. Overall the stock and handguard rate in Very Good condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright, the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore. The feed ramps are smooth and shiny. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 9/10.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 98% of its finish. The balance of the finish shows scattered light scratches on the receivers and Barrel. There is some brass buildup on the case deflector. Overall this rifle rates in Good to Very Good condition for a PreBan Rifle.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
