Our Assessment:  This is an original Mac M10A1 (Military Armament Corporation) designed by Gordon Ingram who designed the machine pistol for Special Ops use.  The M10A1 also referred to as the MAC11 was to be light, compact, and able to deliver extreme amounts of firepower with a custom suppressor.  The MAC11 however had too much firepower and delivered a fire-rate of 1200 rpm – easily unloading a 32 round magazine in less than 2 seconds.  The weapon researcher for the International Association of Police Chiefs, David Steele, famously dubbed the MAC 11 as “fit only for combat in a phone booth”. These pre ban pistols are increasingly rare and one in as good of condition as this is even harder to find.  It is closed bolt which means it was made post the 1986 ban on open bolt systems but the original configuration on this means it is pre 1994 assault weapons ban in which this pistol was specifically named.   Please see our photos and specs below and happy bidding!

Barrel Length: 6” proprietary threaded barrel

Sights / Optics: Iron sights. The front sight is a fixed post with protective ears.  The rear sight is a fixed pinhole sight.

Stock Configuration & Condition: Stock is integrated parkerized steel same as the receiver and has a polymer grip attached to the back of the magwell.  There is no surface wear on the polymer backstrap.

Magazine Quantity & Condition: One 32 round 9mm magazine in Very Good Condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore.

Overall Condition: This handgun retains about 98% of its metal finish. There is some light operational wear on the carrier as well as some loose storage marks and light scratches on the receiver.   The markings are crisp. Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this handgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements. Safety is located at the front of the trigger guard.
