Markings: This pistol has the “first type” markings where the standard Browning serial number is only on the front strap and the GV x markings are on the frame, slide, and chamber. The chamber is also marked “CAL 9m/mP”. The right side of the frame is also marked “ARMS INTL CO / SEBESTIAN, FL”. The front strap is marked “245PM20964”. The left side of the slide is marked “FABRIQUE NATIONALE HERSTAL BELGIQUE / BROWNING’S PATENT DEPOSE”.

Sights/ Optics: The front sight is a semi-circle blade fixed to the slide. The rear sight is a rectangular notch sight dovetailed to the slide.
Stock Configuration & Condition/ Grip: The grips are 2 piece checkered polymer. The checkering is crisp and the peaks are sharp with only a few peaks that have been lightly worn. The right grip, especially at the rear, has some marred checkers. There are no cracks or chips. Overall, the grips are in Very Good condition. Has its lanyard ring.
Magazine Quantity & Condition: One 13rd magazine in Very Good condition.
Type of Finish: Black Enamel
Finish Originality: These were usually refinished multiple times during their lifespans in service.
Bore Condition: The bore is bright. The rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore. In my opinion the bore rates 8/10.
Overall Condition: The pistol retains about 95% of its enamel finish. There are some small scratches and scuffs on the frame and slide. The markings are clear. The screwheads are sharp and serviceable. Overall, this unusual Hi Power pistol is in Excellent condition. There is some minor finish loss on the sides of the frame and on the edges of the trigger guard. Please see photos for a better understanding of this pistol’s condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The slide action is smooth. The trigger is crisp. We did not fire this pistol. As with all previously owned firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
Box Paperwork and Accessories: This pistol comes with its magazine and an Allen Soft Case.
