Markings: The barrel is marked “C MP 5.56 NATO 1/9 HBAR”. The front sight is marked “UP” with a left-pointing arrow above it. The rear sight is marked “UP” with a left-pointing arrow and “DN” with a right-pointing arrow. The left side of the lower is marked with the Colt horse rampant and logo, “SPORTER MATCH HBAR CAL .223 SER. MH079194” and also “COLT’S MFG. CO. INC. HARTFORD CONN. U.S.A.” “SAFE” and “FIRE”. The right side of the BCG has forward assist notches and the left side has a “C” stamp. The neck of the Bolt Head is marked “MPC”. Left side of the hammer is marked with an “S” stamp and the auto sear is marked “COLT”. The left side of the carry handle is marked with a splintered A Forge Mark. The left side of the upper is marked, “COLT 223”. The right side of the Trijicon scope is marked, Trijicon ACOG / ACOG4x32JN8:12 / MADE IN USA”. The top of the ACOG is marked with its serial number in two places “2928”. The left side of the ACOG has a tritium disclaimer.
Barrel Length: 16” . 17” with fixed A2 flash hider.
Sights / Optics: The front sight is an A2 front post sight with elevation adjustment, and the rear sight is an detachable A2 L-type flip aperture carry handle attached to the top picatinny rail. The carry handle is mounted with an original Trijicon ACOG 4×32 TA01. It is marked with its original JN8:12 model number which is a trademark of the early ACOG scopes when Trijicon began gaining traction with military orders, Glyn added the Scripture JN 8:12 (John 8:12) to celebrate his faith in God.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The rifle is equipped with a standard A2 fixed stock, pistol grip and ribbed front carbine length handguard. Some wear on the surface of the buttstock with a few scuff marks along the barrel. The LOP measures 14” from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttstock. The stock rates in about Very Good overall condition.
Magazine Quantity & Condition: This rifle comes with a 10rd 5.56 CompMag in Excellent condition as well as 2 Colt 20rd Factory Magazines in Fine Condition that have been modified to only accept 5 rds.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright, the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 98% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish shows minimal wear. There are some marks atop the top edges of the carry handle. The screw heads are sharp and pins are unmarred. The markings are clear. Overall, this rifle rates in about Excellent condition for a pre ban rifle.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This rifle comes with a Soft Case, a magazine pouch, two extra takedown pins, two extra firing pin retaining pins, and a total of 3 magazines.
