Markings: The left side of the receiver is marked “386440 / Cal. .243” with a proofmark. Rear of the left side of the receiver is marked “VALMET FABRIQUE EN FINLANDE”. The pad on the buttstock is marked “VALMET Made in Finland”. There is a Valmet proof on the face of the bolt carrier.
Barrel Length: 20″
Sights / Optics: The front sight is white faced blade on a serrated ramp atop the gas block. The rear sight is an adjustable flip up notch at the front of the scope rail mounted to the top of the dust cover.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stock is checkered wood with a padded rubber buttpad, checkered wood handguard and a traditional pistol grip. There is a sling loop on the left of the gas block. There is a sling swivel on the bottom of the buttstock. The stocks show no handling wear. The LOP measures 13.75″ from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttpad. The stock rates in about Excellent overall condition.
Magazine Quantity & Condition: Two 10rd .243 Win magazine in Excellent overall condition, marked “243” with a chrome follower.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore. The bore rates in Excellent condition.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 99% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish no operation wear. The screwheads are sharp and the pins are serviceable. The markings are clear. Overall, this rifle rates in about Excellent condition. This rifle appears unfired outside of factory testing. There are some minor rub marks on the receiver from storage wear in its factory box over the years. There are no signs of corrosion.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This rifle comes with its Factory Box, Owner’s Manual, Factory Testing Certificate, Cleaning Kit, Total of two magazines, Original Case Rubber Case Deflector Attachment, Scope Mount and Rings, and Canvas Sling with leather fittings. All items are Factory Original and are in Excellent unused condition.
