Action Type: Bolt Action Rifle with internal magazine.

Markings: The left side of the receiver is marked “S6484276” and “Remington / MODEL 700”.  The left side of the barrel is marked “REMINGTON ARMS COMPANY INC. ILION. NY 221 REM FIREBALL” and an “XX” date code near the chamber.  The right side of the barrel has two proofs.

Barrel Length: 22”.  Straight Fluted Barrel, Recessed crown.

Sights / Optics: The receiver is drilled and tapped for scope mounts.

Stock Configuration & Condition:  The stock is a One-Piece textured synthetic stock with straight comb style cheek piece, semi-pistol grip, 2 Sling Studs, and rubber buttpad.  The bolt is jeweled. The bolt handle has fine checkering.  The LOP measures approximately 13.5” from the front of the trigger to the back of the black rubber buttpad.  The stock rates in about Excellent overall condition. There is some “box” wear on the buttpad and there is some old left over adhesive around the scope mount holes.

Bore Condition:  The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 9/10.

Overall Condition:  This rifle retains about 97% of its metal finish. There are no notable defects or operation wear.  The markings are clear. The screwheads are strong and sharp.  There are some faint drag lines around the muzzle. Overall, this rifle rates in about Excellent condition.

Mechanics:  The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.

Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This rifle comes with its original box, owners manual and take down tool.
