Markings:  The left side of the trunnion is marked “2449 1975” with an upward pointing arrow within a triangle, there are also two proof marks on the trunnion along with a “1” just above the lower handguard.  The right side of the receiver is marked “S” “FA” and “FF”.  The right side of the trunnion is marked with a proof.  The rear of the dust cover is marked “AH 3580”.  The left side of the bolt carrier is marked “VD0491”.  There is a proof on the bottom of the bolt head.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is an adjustable post iron sight with protective wings. The rear sight is an RPK “U” notched leaf sliding sight escalator.

Barrel Length:  About 23” threaded RPK heavy barrel. Has a removable thread protector.

Stock Configuration & Condition:  The furniture set is a wood PM md 64 kit.  The buttstock is a square RPL style fixed stock with sling ring on the left side and metal buttplate with trap door for storage compartment for cleaning kit (cleaning kit included).   The band located behind the front sight has an RPK Bipod attached that folds underneath the length of the barrel.  The LOP measures 12”  from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttplate. The stock rates in about Excellent overall condition given that this is a battlefield pickup set.  The stock remains clean with no chips or cracks.  There are compression marks throughout as expected.  There is minor corrosion on the buttplate, but again as expected.

Magazine Quantity & Condition:  One Bakelite RWB Korean 30rd AK47 magazine in Excellent Condition.

Bore Condition:  The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp.  There is no visible erosion in the bore.

Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 99% of its metal finish.  The balance of the finish shows very minimal wear. The receiver and dust cover have some light scratches.  The screw heads are sharp and pins are serviceable. The markings are clear. Overall, this rifle rates in about Excellent condition. There is some minor finish loss on the bipod.  The rear sight is weathered with some minor erosion.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
