Our Assessment:   The Ruger Precision Rifle chambered in .338 Lapua Magnum is an impressive firearm that combines precision engineering with hard-hitting power. Markings: On the left hand side of the receiver it says “RUGER PRECISION NEWPORT-NH-USA 1804-01287”. Both sides of the safety selector have “RUGER” and “SAFE, FIRE”.  The left side of the barrel is marked “338 LAPUA MAG READ INSTRUCTION MANUAL BEFORE USING THE FIREARM”. Both sides of the stock have the Ruger logo and “RUGER”. On the left and right sides of the handguard has “RUGER”.  The pistol grip is marked, “RUGER”.  Bolt is marked with Ruger’s logo and “1804-01287”.

Barrel Length/tTwist: 26”.  29” with fixed Muzzle Brake.

Sights / Optics: The top of the receiver has a flat top picatinny rail for all your favorite scopes and optics.

Stock Configuration & Condition: Ruger Precision® MSR stock features a bottom Picatinny rail and soft rubber buttpad.  The left-folding stock hinge is attached to an AR-style buffer tube and accepts any AR-style stock.  Length of pull and comb height are adjustable. The LOP measures 12”-15.50”  The handguard is M LOK compatible.  The stock rates in about Excellent overall condition.

Magazine Quantity & Condition: Two 5rd single stack .338 Lapua Mag magazines in Excellent overall condition still sealed in their factory packaging.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp . There is no visible erosion in the bore.

Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 99% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish shows no wear.   The screw heads are sharp. The pins are unmarred. The markings are clear. Overall, this rifle rates in about Excellent condition.  It appears to be unfired and New In Box

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
