Markings: Left side of the barrel is marked “.308 WIN” the Left side of the receiver is marked “781-58803 RUGER M77 MARK II”. The top of the barrel is marked “BEFORE USING GUN-READ WARNINGS IN INSTRUCTION MANUAL AVAILABLE FREE FROM STURM, RUGER & CO. INC., SOUTHPORT, CONN. U.S.A.” The top of the rear of the bolt is marked “SAFE”.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a brass beaded blade, screw set, atop a ramped riser on the front of the barrel. The rear sight is a reversible U / Square notch rear sight with a white diamond dovetailed into a screw set riser towards the rear of the barrel. The receiver is milled and has a set of 1” scope rings mounted to it.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stock is a checkered walnut Mannlicher style stock with a capped semi-pistol grip, straight comb, 2 sling swivels with leather sling attached, and rubber buttplate. The stock has a few very light marks from handling. There are no chips or cracks. The length of pull is 13.5” from the front of the trigger to the rear of the buttpad. The buttpad rubber is pliable. The stock is in Excellent overall condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no visible erosion in the bore. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 9/10.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 99% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish shows very minimal wear. There is only slight operational wear around the Bolt. There is also a small spot where the finish has been removed on the receiver just in front of the bolt handle cut. The screw heads are sharp. The pins are clean. The markings are clear. Overall, this rifle rates in about Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions as intended. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This rifle includes its attached leather sling and scope rings.
