Markings: Left side of the barrel is marked “.243 WIN.”. Left side of the receiver is marked “78-50779 RUGER M77”. Barrel is marked “BEFORE USING GUN READ INSTRUCTION MANUAL AVAILABLE FREE FROM STURM. RUGER & CO. INC., SOUTHPORT, CONN. U.S.A”. The top of the chamber has a PR proof. The tang safety is marked “S” and “F”. The buttpad has the Ruger Phoenix Logo. The pistol grip cap has a Ruger Phoenix medallion inlay.
Barrel Length: 18.5”
Sights / Optics: The front sight is a brass beaded blade screwed to an elevated ramp fixed to the barrel via a barrel band. The rear sight is an adjustable flip up open u-notch with a white diamond underneath the notch. The receiver is dovetailed for factory scope rings. This rifle comes with its factory Scope rings.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stock is a checkered wood Mannlicher stock with traditional capped pistol grip, checkered forend, sling swivels, forend nose cap, and Ruger Red buttpad. The action is bedded in the stock. The LOP measures 13.5” from the front of the trigger to the back of the rubber buttpad. There are no signs of handling, just some loose storage marks from responsible storage in its sleeve in its factory box over the years. The front of the stock on the right side behind the front cap has a large chip taken out of the wood as well as a couple compression marks just behind the chip. There are no cracks. Overall the stock rates in Fair to Good condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 99% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish shows no wear. The screw heads are sharp. The pins are clean. The markings are clear. Overall, this rifle rates in about Very Good condition. This rifle has never been fired or used by its previous owner. However the stock has suffered some damage at the front while in storage. Please see photos.
Mechanics: The action functions as intended. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This rifle comes with its original Ruger Factory Box, Gun Sleeve, Owner’s Manual, Two Factory Scope Rings, and Factory Sling Swivel all in Excellent Condition.
