Markings: The left side of the trunnion is marked “16 V CK 9970”. The left side of the receiver is marked “MOLOT-ORUZHIE LTD. / VYATSKIE POLYANY RUSSIA”, “VEPR / .308 Win”, “FIME GROUP / LAS VEGAS NV USA”. The dust cover is marked “TEXAS WEAPON SYSTEMS MADE IN USA PATENTED”. The right side of the bolt is marked “970”. The right side of the receiver is marked “SF”. There are Russian proofs on the gas block and front sight. The muzzle brake is marked “PA / M472E2-AK”. The grip is marked “HOGUE GRIPS”. The top left of the trunnion is marked “CIP/N 16” with an RNC Russian Mark. The left side of the carrier has a lot number.
Barrel Length: 20″. 22” with muzzle brake.
Sights / Optics: The front sight is an adjustable post sight between two protective ears. The rear sight is a detachable aperture sight mounted to the hinged picatinny dust cover. The left side of the receiver has a scope rail.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The buttstock is a folding tubular stock with reversible cheek piece, vented rubber buttpad, and sling ring on the right side. The pistol grip is a Hogue Rubber Overmolded grip with cobblestone texturing. The two piece handguard is ribbed polymer “waffle style” with sling ring on the left side of the nosecap. The LOP measures 13.5” from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttpad. The stock rates in about Excellent overall condition. There is very light handling wear. The texturing on the grip is crisp. There are a few faint drag lines.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no visible erosion in the bore. There is some light fouling in the grooves. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates in 9/10.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 97% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish shows some wear on the dust cover lug, around the mag well, a few light scratches on the receiver, and some minor scrapes on the piston tube. The screw heads are sharp and the pins are unmarred. The markings are clear. Overall, this rifle rates in about Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
