Markings: This firearm has, “SEMPERT & KRIEGHOFF, SHUHL” on the barrel and, “KRIEGHOFF MONTAGE / SEMPERT & KRIEGHOFF SHUL” on the rib. The bottom of the action has “KRIEGHOFF, DRILLING SEMPER”. Inside the action is marked with the serial and a crown over “U” and crossed “Y” marking. The underside of the barrel is marked, “21428” with “L” and a cursive “L” behind the forend lug, “KRUPP-LAUF / St.m.G. / N 11 gr.” with a crown, “Shul / UE / 7mm / 65 / 1138” with more crown/proof marks with the nitro proof mark on the lower barrel. The double barrel is marked, “ROCHING ELECTRO” with proof marks on either side, “S / W / Shul” with a crown over “U” “16 / 16/1 / Nitro” on either side. The receiver frame, break lever, forend cap, forend release tab, screws, and front and top of barrel have engraving. The receiver has the boar and elk engraving. The underside of the forend is marked “21428” The barrel selector is marked “S / K”

Stock Configuration & Condition: This firearm has a two piece checkered walnut stock set with a checkered capped semi-pistol grip and straight comb with a left side cheek piece and a black rubber Ruger buttpad. The stock only has minor pressure dents. The forend cap tapered to a black painted point. The checkering is sharp. There is a set of sling loops that swing freely. Overall this stock set rates at Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The smoothbore is bright. There is no noticeable erosion. The rifle barrel is bright, There is no erosion. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 9/10.
Overall Condition: This shotgun retains about 95% of its metal finish. This shotgun has some minor bluing wear on the barrel. The bluing is worn on the trigger guard where it was handled, there is some surface rust. There are no major wear marks or scratches. The chamber is lightly used and the action/trigger is crisp. There is wear from handling. There are some small surface rust spots on the barrel. The screws are lightly worn and in good condition, the markings are mostly visible. Overall, this shotgun rates in about Excellent condition for a C&R.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. This shotgun has a fire on release trigger. We have not fired this shotgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
