Markings: The left side of the slide is marked “SIG SAUER P226 STAINLESS / SIGARMS INC. / EXETER-NH-USA”.  The right side of the frame is marked “-SIGARMS INC.EXETER NH- / FRAME MADE IN GERMANY” and “U 728 441”.  The right side of the chamber is marked “.40 S&W”.  Both sides of the grip are marked “SIG SAUER”.

Barrel Length: 4.25”

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a white dotted blade dovetailed to the slide.  The rear sight is a rectangular notch sight dovetailed to the barrel with a white dot under the notch.

Stock Configuration & Condition:  The grips are 2 piece Textured Rosewood Laminate.  This pistol comes with its Sig Rail for laser sight/flashlight accessories.  The front strap is checkered for increased control and dexterity.  The grips rate in about Excellent overall condition with only some light handling wear. This pistol features ambi mag release options and safety decocker.

Bore Condition:  The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore. The bore needs a good cleaning.

Overall Condition:  This handgun retains about 99% of its metal finish.  There is some operation wear on the chamber. There are a couple light scratches on the slide and frame. The screw heads are sharp and the markings are clear.  Overall, this handgun rates in about Excellent condition.

Mechanics:  The action functions correctly. We did not fire this handgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
