Markings:  The left side of the upper receiver is marked “SIG SAUER SIG M400”.  The left side of the receiver is marked  “SIG SAUER INC. / NEWINGTON  / NH, USA / 20L161597” with bullet pictograms for the safety options.  The left side of the gas block is marked “SIG SAUER”. The left side of the magazine well is stamped with the SIG SAUER logo.   The barrel is also marked at the front at the bottom “5.56 NATO ?”.

Barrel Length: Stainless steel 16”.  17 1/2” with 3 Prong flash hider.

Sights / Optics:  The top of the receiver is a flat top picatinny rail with a mounted “SIG SAUER” Romeo5 red dot sight.  Also it has an adjustable “MAGPUL MBUS” rear adjustable flip sight.  The front sight is a “MAGPUL MBUS” adjustable flip down sight.

Stock Configuration & Condition:  The buttstock is a MAGPUL MOE SL-K Telescoping Stock.  The buttstock features sling slots and rubber buttpad.  The hand guard is a free-floating M-LOK enhanced handguard that is lightweight yet rigid for extreme control and ease of mounting accessories.  It is mounted with a “SIG SAUER” Tread Vertical Grip kit, which consists of a vertical grip, and hand stop. The pistol grip is a “SIG SAUER” polymer with storage compartment. The LOP measures 14” from the front of the trigger to the back of the fully extended buttpad.  The stock rates in Excellent condition with little to no sign of handling wear.  Has ambidextrous safety.

Magazine Quantity & Condition: 2 Lancer 30rd magazines, 1 clear red plastic Lancer 30rd magazine, and 1 PMAG 30rd magazine.  All magazines are in Excellent condition.

Finish Originality: Original

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp.  There is no erosion in the bore.  In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 9/10.

Overall Condition:  This rifle retains about 99% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish does not appear to show any operational wear. The screw heads are sharp and pins are unmarred. The markings are clear. Overall, this rifle rates in about Excellent condition.

Mechanics:  The action functions correctly.  We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.  Has ambidextrous safety and mag release.
