Markings: The top of the left barrel is marked “MODEL 385 20GA 3” CHAMBER PROOF TESTED / MADE BY NEW SKB ARMS COMPANY JAPAN”. The barrel flats are marked with the serial number, “NS 44331”, twice with “C” and “NP”, and “3808C”. The interior forend iron is marked with the serial number, “NS 44331” as is the left side of the water table. The receiver and exterior forend iron feature floriate engraving and game scenes. The buttpad is marked “PACHMAYR”. The inside of the forend iron is marked “NS 44331”. The bottom of the right barrel is marked “G.U.INC., OMAHA, NE”.
Barrel Length: 28” with textured barrel rib.
Choke: Both barrels are threaded. The right barrel has a Skeet Choke installed. The left barrel has an Improved Cylinder Choke installed.
Sights/Optics: There is a gold bead fixed to the front of the barrel rib. The top of the rib is textured to reduce glare.
Stock Configuration and Condition: The stocks are two-piece wood with checkered semi-pistol grip and beavertail forend, fluted straight comb, and a textured black rubber Pachmayr buttpad. The grip cap has intermittent nicks along the edge. The checkering is well-defined. There are no chips or cracks. The LOP measures 14.25” from the front of the trigger to the back of the pad, and 13.5” to the wood. Overall, the stocks rate in Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: Both bores are bright and there is no erosion. In this writer’s opinion the bores rate 10/10.
Overall Condition: This shotgun retains about 99% of its metal finish. The screw heads are sharp. The pins are unmarred. The markings are clear. The balance of the finish shows no operation wear. Overall, this shotgun rates in Excellent-Like New condition. This shotgun appears unfired.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The lock up is tight with no play. We have not fired this shotgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your standards.
Box, Paperwork, and Accessories: This shotgun comes with its factory box, complete with its choke set (total of 5 chokes: F, M ICx2, SK), choke removal tool, and owner’s manual with SKB interchoke system paper.
