Our Assessment: This is Smith & Wesson’s Model 22-4, it is a member of the Classics Series and was unveiled by the company as a reintroduction of the Model of 1917 .45. The revolver has a four-screw frame, 5.5″ barrel and blued finish.  The .45 ACP is still a popular caliber with a wide variety of ammunition available at reasonable prices (usually). This example is in about Excellent condition with about 98% of its original finish with only light handling wear and good mechanics. The bore hand mechanics are stellar and this will be a fine shooter. Chambered in .45 ACP, this out to be a great revolver for target practice, home defense, or revolver competition. Please see our pictures and good luck!
