Markings: The left side of the slide is marked “SMITH & WESSON”, “MADE IN U.S.A. / MARCAS REGISTRADAS / SMITH & WESSON / SPRINGFIELD, MASS.”.  The left side of the frame is marked “TDJ2612 / MOD 5906”.  The right side of the frame is marked with the S&W monogram.  Both grips are marked “Smith & Wesson” with the S&W Monogram. The chamber is marked “9MM / PARABELLUM”.  There is a proof on the left side of the trigger guard.

Barrel Length: 4”

Sights / Optics:  The front sight is a reflective dot blade dovetailed to a ramped base on the slide.  The rear sight is a fully adjustable rectangular notch sight with two reflective dots and a serrated base for glare reduction.

Stock Configuration & Condition:  The grips are 2 piece S&W checkered synthetic grips with checkered wrap around backstrap. The front strap is serrated and the front of the trigger guard is checkered.  The grips rate in about Excellent overall condition with some light handling wear. The checkering is crisp with sharp peaks. There are some faint drag lines.

Magazine Quantity and Condition:  One S&W Stainless 15rd 9mm Magazine in Very Good condition.

Finish Originality: Original

Bore Condition: The bore is mirror bright and the rifling is sharp.  There is no erosion in the bore.  Overall the bore rates 10 out of 10. The feed ramp shows no wear and is shiny.

Overall Condition:  This pistol retains about 99% of its metal finish. There is little to no operation wear on the parts and components.  There is old grease on the hammer and internals.  There are some light scratches on the frame and slide from loose storage.  There is no rust.  There is light and hard to notice discoloration on the slide at the muzzle end and some on top of the slide behind the ejection port. Overall, this handgun rates in about Excellent condition. Please see photos for a better understanding of this pistol’s condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this handgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements. Has magazine disconnect. Ambidextrous safety/decocker.
