Markings: The left side of the barrel is marked “SMITH & WESSON”, the right side is marked “22 M.R.F. CTG.”, the underside flat is marked “S”. The left side of the frame has S&W’s trademark logo, the right side of the frame has the four line Marcas Registradas. The left side of the grip frame is marked “S SA / B17654”, the butt is marked with the serial number, the right side is marked “21410 687”. The yoke cut is marked with the serial number and “ 651-1”, the yoke is marked “687”. The grip panels have silver-colored S&W medallions.
Barrel Length: 4”, with un-shrouded ejector rod and solid, serrated rib; the top of the rib is matte finished for glare reduction.
Sights / Optics: The front sight is an integral serrated ramp blade with an orange insert. The rear sight is a flat top, square notched leaf in a micrometer-click base that is adjustable for windage and elevation.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are checkered walnut Magna grips with silver-colored S&W medallions. The checkering is slightly worn, primarily on the left side of the grip. The grips rate in about Very Good overall condition. There are no chips or cracks or any significant notable defects.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore.
Overall Condition: This handgun retains about 97% of its metal finish. The cylinder has a faint crisp drag line. The surfaces show extremely shallow wispy scuff marks and a few infrequent light handling scuff marks. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are crisp. Overall, this handgun rates in about Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The cylinder produces only a very small amount of side to side play in full lockup of all 6 chambers. The double action trigger pull is smooth, single action is crisp. We did not fire this handgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This revolver comes with a Bianchi leather holster in Very Good condition.
