Markings: The left side of the barrel is marked “PERFORMANCE CENTER” and the right side is marked “S&W 357 MAGNUM”. The Left side plate has S&W’s monogram logo, the right side of the frame is marked “MADE IN U.S.A. MARCAS REGISTRADAS SMITH & WESSON SPRINGFIELD, MASS.”. The inside of the crane cut is marked, “SWT2268 327”. The crane is marked “0536” The left and right side of the grips are marked with the Smith and Wesson Logo.

Sights / Optics: The front sight has been upgraded to an encased green fiber optic blade pinned to a raised portion at the front of the barrel. The rear sight is a blacked out rectangular fully adjustable square notch sight screwed to the top of the frame.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are Hogue rubber overmolded cobblestone textured grips with S&W logo medallions. The texturing is strong with minimal wear. The grips rate in Very Good overall condition.

Finish Originality: Factory Original
Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no visible erosion in the bore. The recessed crown in the barrel is clean with minimal fouling. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 9/10.
Overall Condition: This handgun retains about 95% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish shows some wear from use. The frame has two small nicks under the trigger guard and just behind the crane hinge there is a drag mark that has removed some of the finish. The barrel shroud has four areas where the finish has been marred. The screw heads are sharp with strong slots. The markings are clear. The cylinder has a thin but visible drag line. Overall, this handgun rates in about Good to Very Good condition. Please see photos for a better understanding of this revolver’s condition.
Mechanics: The action has been tuned by the performance center and functions correctly with a very small amount of side-to-side play in lockup. This pistol has excellent timing and an extremely crisp, smooth, trigger pull and action especially in single action. This pistol has had the mainspring and rebound spring upgraded by a gunsmith with Wolff company parts. This revolver has a factory installed frame lock. We did not fire this handgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This pistol comes with 16 x Moon Clips, Factory brass dot front sight, 3 x Factory picatinny rails two top mount rails for optics and one lower rail to mount accessories to the barrel, Rail mounting screws, 4 x set screws, Smith and Wesson frame lock key, 13lb Wolff rebound spring, original factory rebound spring, 15lb Wolff rebound spring, original mainspring, information sheet, and a NON original blue Springfield Armory Plastic case with foam inserts.
