Markings:  The left side of the barrel is marked “PERFORMANCE CENTER” and the right is marked “500 S&W MAGNUM”. The side plate has S&W’s monogram logo, the right side of the frame is marked “500 ES MADE IN U.S.A. MARCAS REGISTRADAS SMITH & WESSON SPRINGFIELD, MASS.”.   The inside of the crane and groove is marked, “JNM3064 MOD 500 432”.   The left and right side of the grips are marked with the Smith and Wesson Logo.  The scope is marked “LEUPOLD” and “HANDGUN FX-11 4x28mm”.

Barrel Length: The barrel is 10.5″ with a solid rib and underlug. 11.25 with fixed muzzle brake.

Sights / Optics:  The front sight is a ramped blade dovetailed to the rib.  The rear sight is a rectangular adjustable notch sight with white outline of the notch.  The top of the barrel has a picatinny rail that is mounted with a Leupold Handgun FX-11 4x28mm Scope.  The sight picture is clear.

Stock Configuration & Condition:  The grips are Hogue rubber overmolded cobblestone textured grips with S&W logo medallions. The texturing is strong with no wear. The grips rate in about Excellent overall condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is mirror bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion.

Overall Condition: This handgun retains about 99.9% of its metal finish. The screw heads are sharp with strong slots. The markings are clear. Overall, this handgun rates in about Excellent condition.  The cylinder has a thin drag line.  Please see photos for a better understanding of this revolver’s condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly with very light side-to-side play in lockup. This pistol has excellent lock up and crisp smooth trigger pull and action.  We did not fire this handgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
