Markings: Rear top of the receiver is marked “US RIFLE M1A SPRINGFIELD ARMORY 458954”. The top of the barrel is marked, “.308”. The top of the bolt carrier group is marked “779018-SA F00366”. The rear of the magazines are marked with the Springfield ArmoryLogo.

Sights / Optics: The rear sight is a Ghost Ring .135 Aperture, MOA adj. for Windage & Elevation. The Front sight is an XS Post w/ Tritium Insert, .125 Blade.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stocks are traditional walnut wood stocks. The metal buttplate has a fold out shoulder rest. The LOP measures 13.25” from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttstock. There is no visible wear on the surface of the stock.. The stock rates in about Excellent overall condition.
Magazine Quantity & Condition: 2x Detachable 7.62x51mm / 308 Win 20 rd box magazines in Excellent condition. 1x 10rd magazine as well. All magazines are made by Springfield.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no visible erosion in the bore. 6-Groove Carbon Steel. 1:11 Twist.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 99.9% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish shows no surface wear from responsible prior ownership. There are only some light scratches on the charging handle and next to the right side of the stripper clip feeding lip but are only visible in the light’s reflection. The screw heads are sharp and pins are serviceable. The markings are clear. Overall, this rifle rates in about Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
