Markings: The left side of the receiver is marked “SAR-8 SPORTER / EBO GREECE / MADE IN GREECE”, “11229”. The right side of the receiver is marked “SAR8 7.62MM / SPRINGFIELD ARMORY USA / GENESEO, IL”. Both sides of the grip module are marked “S F” for the safety selection options.
Barrel Length: 16”. 18” with flash hider.
Sights / Optics: The front sight is a hooded post and the rear sight is a twist knob aperture/diopter drum rear sight. The top of the receiver has provision for HK style claw mounts for optic and rail options.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The buttstock is polymer with sling well and bar in the left side and serrated polymer buttplate. The pistol grip is polymer with thumb shelf. The handguard is a polymer with grooves for a bipod (not included). There is a sling ring on the left side of the gas block. The LOP measures 15” from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttplate. The stock rates in about Excellent overall condition. There are no signs of previous handling.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is some scattered corrosion down the length of the bore. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 8/10.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains more than 99% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish shows no operation wear. The screw heads are sharp and pins are unmarred. The markings are clear. Overall, this rifle rates in about Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
