Markings: Left side of the receiver is marked “584-17364” and the rear left side of the receiver is marked “RUGER / NEWPORT, NH – USA / READ INSTRUCTION MANUAL / BEFORE USING FIREARM“. Top of the receiver rear is marked “MINI-14 5.56 NATO”. There is a backwards “P” and “R” on top of the receiver.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a fixed blade with protective ears and has a rear aperture sight. The rear sight is a aperture sight. The top of the receiver is milled for Ruger Scope RIngs that are included with this rifle.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stock is wood with semi-pistol grip, 2 sling rings, rubber buttpad, with polymer vented handguard. The stock is in Excellent condition with no sign of handling wear. The LOP measures 13.5” from the front of the trigger to the back of the rubber buttpad.
Magazine Quantity & Condition: Two 10rd and One 20rd Ruger Mini-14 magazines in Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore. In my opinion the bore rates 10/10.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 95% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish shows some light operation wear on the bolt and receiver. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear. Overall, this rifle rates in about Excellent condition. Please see our photos for a better understanding of this rifle’s condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This rifle comes with its factory box, total of three magazines, owner’s manual, and scope rings all in Excellent condition.
Our Assessment: The Mini-14 was introduced to the world of firearms in the 70’s and became an instant classic. The small profile, beloved M-14 design miniaturized, and high velocity rounds created a unique niche as these guns were often loaded into the back of trucks in the backcountry and taken to do all the rough things ranchers needed to get done. The name of the Ranch Rifle served well as it was hardy, reliable, and everything you could need when working the rugged terrain and fighting off predators. This Modern 2019 Ruger Mini-14 is in Excellent Condition and ready to become a new favorite in any arsenal. For the traditional shooter, you can’t help but love the Mini 14. It’s a beautiful and wonderful all around gun. After shooting it you’ll be left with a little smile and say, “huh, nifty”. Keep the parts together or swap out a few to make this rifle truly your own.
