Markings: Left side of the receiver is marked “187-19155 / STURM RUGER & CO. INC. SOUTHPORT, CONN. U.S.A.” The back of the receiver is marked, “RUGER RANCH RIFLE CAL.223” There is a proof mark on the top front of the receiver.

Barrel Length: 18.5” 21” with the muzzle device

Sights / Optics:  The front sight is a fixed serrated ramp blade with protective wings. The rear is an adjustable rear peep sight.

Stock Configuration & Condition: The stock is a side folding Falcon stock W/ wood forend and A2 pistol grip. There are faint scratches on the stock and very minor pressure dents. There are no chips or cracks. The stock is in Excellent condition.  The LOP measures 13.5” from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttplate.

Magazine Quantity & Condition: One 20 round magazine in Very Good condition.

Type of Finish: Blued.

Finish Originality: Original

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore.  In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 9/10.

Overall Condition:  This rifle retains about 99% of its metal finish. There is light action wear and small nicks on the barrel. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear. Overall, this rifle rates in about Excellent condition.  Please see our photos for a better understanding of this rifle’s condition.

Mechanics:  The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
