Markings: The Right side of the frame is marked “577-13176”. The right side of the barrel is marked, “RUGER SP101 / .22 LR CAL.”. The underside of the barrel is marked “RUGER NEWPORT, NH USA / READ INSTRUCTION MANUAL”.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a dovetailed serrated ramp with green fiber optic bead. The rear sight is an adjustable rectangular notch screwed and pinned to the top strap.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The grip is a two piece rubber overmolded with wooden inserts screwed to the frame. The rubber shows some signs of wear. The wood has sharp checkering with no scratches, chips or cracks. Overall the grips are in Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no visible erosion in the bore. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 9/10.
Overall Condition: This handgun retains about 99% of its metal finish. The drag line is faint and thin. There are some faint surface scratches on the frame. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear. Overall, this handgun rates in about Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions as intended. We did not fire this handgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
