Markings: The top of the rifle is marked “R-55 ALL WEATHER”. The left side of the barrel is marked “BEFORE USING GUN READ INSTRUCTION MANUAL AVAILABLE FREE FROM / -THOMPSON/CENTER ARMS, ROCHESTER, NH, USA- 17 MACH 2 Only”. The left side of the receiver is marked “S 2043”. The right side of the scope base is marked “LEUPOLD”.
Barrel Length: 21”.
Sights / Optics: The front sight is a red fiber optic rod screwed to the barrel. The rear sight is a fully adjustable u-notch on an escalator fixed to the barrel. The top of the receiver is mounted with a Leupold base set with two stainless scope rings.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stock is a one piece synthetic stock with textured semi-pistol grip, cheek piece, polymer buttplate with trap door for extra magazine storage compartment (not included), textured forend with finger grooves and two sling studs. The stock is in Excellent condition. There is no wear at all outside of loose storage marks.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no visible erosion in the bore. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 10/10.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 99% of its finish. The balance of the finish shows minimal wear. The screw heads are sharp and pins are unmarred. The markings are clear. Overall, this rifle rates in about Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
