Markings:  The left side of the receiver is marked with a circled 11, “1958 / DA07954”.  The sight mount is marked with crossed out “621205”.  Both sides of the trigger are marked “ALG”.  The right side of the receiver is marked “C P”.  The bottom of the receiver is marked “TORTORT MFG / SANTA ANA CA / RFX1238 / CAL 7.62”. The rear of the dust cover is marked “07954”.  The left side of the bolt carrier is marked “07954” with several proofs. The left side of the recoil spring lug is marked “07954”.  The bottom of the bolt is marked with several proofs.

Barrel Length: 16.25” threaded with removable thread protector.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is an open adjustable post sight with protective wings. The rear sight is an adjustable tangent leaf sight marked 1-8 and S.  Has original PSP optic mount.

Stock Configuration & Condition:  The receiver is a milled straight cut receiver.  The bottom of the barrel has its cleaning rod. (No bayonet lug.) The buttstock is wood with metal buttplate with trap door for cleaning kit storage compartment (cleaning kit  not included).  The two piece handguards are wood.  The pistol grip is checkered wood.  The LOP measures about 12.5” from the front of the trigger to the rear of the buttplate.  The stocks rate in Very Good condition. The checkering is crisp. There are no chips or cracks.  There are some nicks/compression marks on the right side of the handguard as well as some light ones on the rest of the wood surfaces. The bottom of the grip and front have some compression marks.

Bore Condition:  The chrome-lined bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore.

Overall Condition:  This rifle retains about 99% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish shows some very minor faint scratches on the dust cover.  The screw heads are sharp and serviceable and the pins are unmarred. The markings are crisp. There is some minor erosion on the trigger guard and mag release lever.  Overall, this rifle rates in Excellent Condition.

Mechanics: The action functions very well. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
