Markings: The right side of the barrel is marked “T-BOLT CALIBER .22 LONG RIFLE / PATENT No 3,257,749”.  The left side of the barrel is marked “BROWNING ARMS COMPANY MORGAN, UTAH & MONTREAL P.Q. / MADE IN BELGIUM”.  The right side of the receiver is marked “56501 X71”.  There is a proof on the right side of the bolt and locking plate.  The left side scope is marked “LEUPOLD VX-FREEDOM RIMFIRE 3-9×40”.  The bottom of the magazine is marked “22 L.R. BROWNING”.  The buttplate is marked “BROWNING”.

Barrel Length: 24”.

Sights / Optics:  The front sight is a partridge blade set in a raised ramped base.  The top of the receiver is mounted with a Leupold VX-Freedom 3-9×40 Rifle Scope. The sight picture is clear.  The scope rates in Excellent condition.

Stock Configuration & Condition:  The stock is one piece checkered walnut with semi-pistol grip, straight comb, Browning hard rubber buttplate, and checkered forend.  The LOP measures approximately 13.75” from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttplate.   The stock rates in about Excellent overall condition.  There are a few compression marks including one more notable mark on the right bottom of the forend.  There is some handling wear on the checkering they remain well defined.  There are two checkers that are marred on the left side of the forend.   There are no chips or cracks.

Finish Originality: Original

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 10/10.

Overall Condition:  This rifle retains about 99% of its metal finish.  The markings are clear. The screwheads are sharp.  There are a few marks on the trigger guard and some corrosion in the bottom metal’s front screw slot.  There are a few small marks on the left side of the barrel exterior near the muzzle.  The left side of the receiver has a small thin scratch in front of the safety. There are very little signs of previous operation.  Overall, this rifle rates in about Excellent condition for C&R.

Mechanics:  The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.

Box, Paperwork & Accessories:  This rifle comes with an original 5rd .22LR magazine and its attached scope as mentioned above.
