Action Type: Break action revolver.

Markings: This revolver has “WD” and crown proof marks along the left side of the top strap, “WEBLEY MARK II PATENTS” on the left side of the frame, another “WD” above the grip panels, a broad arrow on the hammer, a broad arrow on either side of the trigger, and another broad arrow on the break lever. The back of the cylinder has original proof markings. The cylinder has six crown markings.

Barrel Length: 4”

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a fixed blade sight and the rear sight is a V-notch in the break lever.

Stock Configuration & Condition: This revolver has a two piece vulcanite hard rubber grip panels with checkering. There is only a few minor nicks in the back of each panel.. The grips rates in about Excellent condition for an antique.

Type of Finish: Blued

Finish Originality: Refurbished

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore.  In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 10/10.

Overall Condition: This handgun retains about 99% of its metal finish. There are some minor bluing wear on the hammer, top strap, and under the trigger. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are crisp. Overall, this handgun rates in about Excellent condition. This Webley is Unshaved.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The barrel has an extractor that operates when the action is opened. We did not fire this handgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.

This particular naval MK II revolver has been completely re-blued and its action is smooth with a tight lockup. This particular revolver has not been rechambered for .45 ACP and is in original mechanical condition.
