Markings: The left side of the top barrel is marked “MODEL 101 – WINCHESTER – 20 GAUGE – 2 3/4″ & 3” / NEW HAVEN, CONN. – U.S.A.”, the right side is marked “MADE IN JAPAN”. Under the forend, the left of the top barrel is marked “FULL”, the bottom “MOD.” and each with an ovalled “WP” proof. The bottom of the bottom barrel is marked “WINCHESTER PROOF STEEL”. The bottom of the monoblock is marked “P B 242327” AND “20-3”. Just in front of the right side of the mono block is marked “P20 / S15” The top of the forend iron is marked “242327”, and again the number is stamped on the wood inside of the forend. The top tang is marked “K242327”. The receiver, trigger guard, exposed portions of the forend iron and the barrel shoulders have decorative scroll and floral engraving. The recoil pad is marked “TRADE WHITE LINE MARK PACHMAYR GUN WORKS LOS ANGELES 15, CALIFORNIA U.S.A.”
Barrel Length: 28” With Ventilated Rib.
Choke: Full over Modified, both fixed.
Sights / Optics: There is a fixed white bead at the front of the rib and a smaller white mid-bead. The top of the rib is finely checkered to reduce glare.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stocks are two-piece checkered walnut with forend, straight comb, capped semi-pistol grip and brown rubber Pachmayr buttpad. The stocks have some minor scattered nicks, scuffs and depressions. The two notable marks are a depression/scuff just in front of the buttpad, and a depression on the right side comb. The checkering is well defined. There are no chips or cracks. The LOP measures 14″ from the front of the trigger to the back of the recoil pad. The pad has almost no wear and is still supple. Overall, the stocks are in Good to Very Good condition.

Bore Condition: The bores are very bright with only the slightest feathered scratches at the end of the bore. There is no erosion. In this writer’s opinion the bores rate 9.5/10.
Overall Condition: This shotgun retains about 99% of its metal finish. There is assembly and operation wear on the action. There are some rub marks under the safety. There is a scratch on the trigger guard and another on the left side of the barrels just behind the muzzle. The markings are clear and the screw heads sharp. Overall, this shotgun is in about Very Good condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The barrels lock up to the receiver with no play. The safety does not engage automatically when the action is opened, and does function properly when engaged manually. We have not fired this shotgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
