Markings: The left side of the barrel is marked “MADE IN NEW HAVEN CONN,U.S. OF AMERICA-WINCHESTER MODEL 70 30-06 SPRG.- / –TRADE MARK WINCHESTER PROOF STEEL –”. And a circled WP Proof. The left side of the receiver is marked “ –WINCHESTER TRADE MARK– .”. The right side of the receiver is marked “157320”.
Barrel Length: 23 1/4”
Sights / Optics: There is a hooded bead front sight and a flip up rear sight . The top of the receiver is drilled and tapped and has a Vintage Weaver K4-60B scope mounted.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stock is a one-piece checkered wood with a traditional pistol grip, straight comb, metal butt plate, and sling studs front and rear. There are some scratches and depressions on the stock.The action is bedded in the stock. The checkering is well defined with sharp peaks. There are no chips, cracks, or nicks. The LOP measures 13.5″ from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttpad. The pad has no visible wear. Overall, the stock is in Great condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 95% of its metal finish. There are some faint loose storage marks and a scuff on top of the barrel. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear. There are wear marks in the bore from the bolt. Overall, this rifle is in Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. This rifle employs a push feed bolt. The safety is mounted at the back of the bolt on the right side. It has three positions. Pushed all the way forwards, the safety is off and ready to fire. In the middle position, the safety blocks the trigger, but allows the bolt to be opened for loading and unloading. In the rear position, the safety blocks the trigger and the bolt. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
