The left side of the receiver is marked “ –WINCHESTER– / TRADEMARKS LICENSED FROM OLIN CORP.”. The right side of the receiver is marked “35CZX05400”. The right side of the barrel is marked “MODEL 70 FEATHERWEIGHT/ MADE IN U.S.A. BACO. INC. MORGAN, UTAH”.

Sights / Optics: There is no provision for iron sights. The top of the receiver is drilled and tapped and has scope rings mounted.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stock is a one-piece checkered wood with a traditional pistol grip, straight comb, black rubber buttpad, and sling studs front and rear. There are some light scratches on the stock.The action is bedded in the stock. The checkering is well defined with sharp peaks. There are no chips, cracks, or nicks. The LOP measures 13.5″ from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttpad. The pad has no visible wear. Overall, the stock is in Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 99% of its metal finish. There are some faint loose storage marks and a scuff on top of the barrel. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear. Overall, this rifle is in Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. This rifle employs a push feed bolt. The safety is mounted at the back of the bolt on the right side. It has three positions. Pushed all the way forwards, the safety is off and ready to fire. In the middle position, the safety blocks the trigger, but allows the bolt to be opened for loading and unloading. In the rear position, the safety blocks the trigger and the bolt. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
