Markings: The left side of the barrel is marked “WINCHESTER / MADE IN USA”, “30-30”. The left side of the receiver is marked “Buffalo Bill”. The right side of the barrel is marked “Buffalo Bill Commemorative”. The upper tang is marked “W.F.Cody Chief of Scouts”. The bottom of the frame is marked “WC48657”. The top of the barrel has a ovaled WP mark. The right side of the buttstock has a “1846-1917 COLONEL WILLIAM F. “BUFFALO BILL” CODY” around a bust of Buffalo Bill.
Barrel Length: About 20”. Octagon Barrel.
Sights / Optics: The front sight is a tall beaded blade dovetailed to the barrel. The rear sight is a U-notch elevator sight that is dovetailed to the slide.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stocks are two-piece smooth wood with a capped forend, straight grip, straight comb, and steel buttplate. There are no chips or cracks. The LOP measures 13.5″ from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttplate. The plate shows hardly any wear except for at the heel where the edges have been slightly worn. Overall, the stocks are in about Very Good condition. There are some scratches on the stocks as well as a few shallow compression marks. There are some more prominent compressions on the bottom of the handguard.

Bore Condition: The bore is semi-bright and the rifling is well defined. The lands are dark.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 99% of its metal finish. There are a few scattered light marks about the metal. The action shows very light operational wear. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear. Overall, this rifle is in about Very Good condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
