Markings: The left side of the barrel is marked “WINCHESTER–MODEL 94 30-30 WIN. / MADE IN NEW HAVEN, CONN. U.S.A. WINCHESTER PROOF STEEL”. The top of the barrel bears the Winchester proof mark. The bottom of the receiver is marked with the serial number “LL05403”. The right side of the barrel is marked “LEGENDARY LAWMEN”. Both sides of the receiver have floral scroll and decorative border engraving. The left side also has a lawman and a criminal, each on a horse riding through a town. The right side of the receiver is marked “LEGENDARY LAWMEN” and shows a head-on view of a lawman on a horse and a badge that is marked “MARSHAL”. The right side of the stock has an inlaid silver-colored round coin having a star badge style outline with etching and a lawman standing in the center. The upper tang is marked “MODEL 1894 / WINCHESTER”.
Barrel Length: 16″
Sights / Optics: The front sight is a pinched blade dovetailed to the barrel. The rear sight is a U-notch elevator sight dovetailed to the barrel.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stocks are checkered walnut with a banded forearm, straight hand grip, straight flat comb, and a metal buttplate. There is no notable wear on the forend. The stock has two notable scratches on the left side and some minor scuffs and handling wear throughout. There are no chips or cracks. The LOP measures 13” from the front of the trigger to the back of the butt plate, which shows no notable wear. The stocks rate in about Very Good overall condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 9/10.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 98% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish shows scattered light handling marks on the receiver and tarnish on the lower tang. There is a small scratch near the proof on the top of the barrel. There is hardly any other notable operational wear. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are crisp. Overall, this rifle rates in about Very Good condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We have not fired this rifle. As with all previously owned firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
