Our Assessment: The M1 Carbine is one of the gallant heroes of World War II. Used by American troops in both theatres, it was the smaller more ergonomic cousin to the M1 Garand Main Battle Rifle. The M1 was produced by everyone from Winchester to General Motors. After World War II, the M1 Carbine would go on to serve US forces in Korea and Vietnam, becoming one of the most famous US battle implements.  This beautiful M1 Carbine is one of those serviced in South Korea after WWII and then imported back into the U.S. in the 70’s and 80’s. It was originally manufactured by General Motors Inland Division in April, 1944 – Making an already rare breed all the more historically rich and desirable.  This could be a critter gun, a range gun, or a truck gun thanks to its compact yet powerful build.  Please see our photos, specs below, and good luck on your bid!
