The bolt is marked “Z70-075908”. The left side of the receiver is marked “Z70-075908”, “ZASTAVA ARMS”, “MADE IN SERBIA”.  The rear sight is marked 0-10. The grip and stock are marked with Magpul’s logo. The right side of the forend is marked “UTG PRO MADE IN USA”. The rail covers are marked with the UTG logo.

Barrel Length: 16.3”, 17.25” with the muzzle device.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is an adjustable post and the rear sight is a “U” notched tangent marked from 0-10. The forend is a quad-rail set-up. There is a scope rail on the left side of the receiver.

Stock Configuration & Condition: The forend is a UTG Pro AK quad-rail with UTG rail covers on the left, right, and underside rails. The buttstock is a folding Magpul Zhukov-S adjustable stock. It has a 1.5mm bulged trunnion receiver. The pistol grip is a Magpul MOE AK polymer grip. It does have a bayonet lug. The LOP measures 14.75” from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttplate when the stock is fully extended. The stock rates in about Excellent overall condition.

Magazine Quantity & Condition: 1x Magpul 30 round PMAG30 AK/AKM polymer magazine in Fine Condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no visible erosion in the bore, but it could use a light cleaning.

Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 98% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish shows some light wear on the left side of the receiver as well as along the interior rim of the magazine well. The screw heads are sharp and serviceable and the pins are unmarred. The markings are clear. This rifle rates in about Excellent condition

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.

Our Assessment: The Zastava ZPAPM70 is a sporting rifle version of the military issued M70. Initially imported into the US with thumbhole stocks due to import restrictions, they are converted by Zastava Arms USA into rifles more aesthetically in line with their military counterparts.

This is a Gen 4 variant, which features a 1.5mm receiver and bulged “RPK” trunnion. The barrel is also chrome lined to prevent erosion and improve the lifespan of the bore. It also features a UTG Pro quad-rail forend which will enable a large degree of customization. The folding stock will also give a lot of leeway in usage as well as storage.
